Testimonials

Treatment Methods in Therapy:

For over 10 years, I have helped healthcare professionals, college students, young adults, and professionals manage anxiety, stress, depression, burnout, body image, eating disorders, conflict resolution, and make better decisions. I am known for my expertise in solution-focused techniques on multicultural topics and conflict resolution for families and healthcare organizations. I have provided psychological services, counseling, coaching, and therapy to professionals and their families utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Affect Regulation Therapy (ART), Assertive Communication Skills (ACS), Insight Oriented Therapy (IOT), Problem-Solving Therapy (PST), Guided Breathing, Validation Therapy (VT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and much more to help clients/patients to move forward at their own pace.

Are you ready to transform yourself? I am blessed to work with many Catholic and Christian professionals. I am also well-versed in working with multicultural topics and Asian-American professionals. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Board Certified Executive Coach with backgrounds in Clinical and Industrial and Organizational Psychology. For years, this unique combination has helped me to work well with college students, professionals in various industries, and healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, residents, administrators, surgeons, entrepreneurs, and business owners. If this is the first time you want to work with a professional like me, let me have the honor of guiding you through this uneasy-feeling process at times. Are you ready? Let's connect to work together!

My Greatest Strengths:

I work well and have received positive feedback from a diverse range of individuals, including physicians, business owners, nurses, pharmacists, young adults, college students, the elderly, professionals from various industries, healthcare professionals, multicultural clients, and Asian American professionals. As a psychologist, I have trained and worked with many mental health issues. The main purpose of working with you is to guide you to bring joy to your life or have healthy mental care whether you have anxiety, depression, body image, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, perfectionism, people-pleaser issues, multicultural topics, multigenerational trauma/issues, growing up with too strict or permissive parents, negative thinking, overthinking, and/or conflict in your life.

My Ideal Clients/Patients

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California and a Board Certified Executive Coach, I have been working with professionals (doctors, nurses, lawyers, entrepreneurs, small business owners, engineers, CEOs, office workers, and managers) for years. I am interested in working with the Catholic and Christian population, and I would like to help these high-functioning individuals overcome their issues and conflicted situations. Thank you!

Our First Session

We will get to know each other during our first session (intake). I will ask you some questions about your goals and background to help me better work with you. It's not as scary as many people imagine. I look forward to working with you.

Assessment Tools

I utilize the most valid and effective assessment tools for psychological testing, including ADHD evaluation, career path assessment, and career change evaluations as needed. I utilize evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and many other approaches to help clients move forward at their own pace.

What You Can Achieve During & Between Sessions

Everyone is unique. My hope is for you to see some progress after four sessions. I provide exercises/homework and structured journal prompts throughout the treatment to help your brain rewire to achieve your goals.

Additionally, we use a HIPAA-compliant link for Televideo/Telehealth to provide a safe and confidential environment for you to work on yourself.
